How To Insert, or Upload a Picture in Joomla

Open your web browser, such as Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox. Log into the back-end, or control panel  of your website. This is done by typing your website name, followed by " /administrator " thus pointing your web browser to your control panel “http://www.yoursite.co.za/administrator" . Type in your Username, and Password.

• Once logged into the back-end of your website, you will see Joomla's Control Panel in front of you.
• Click on the "Add New Article" icon on the dashboard or select Content, from the top menu, then scroll down to, Article Manager.
• Now that you are in the Article Manager section, Click on the New button, or Edit button, to create, or edit an article.
• Start by typing your content in plain text, then make adjustments to size and colour.
• Click, in the area of the document that you would like to position the picture.
• In the Article Editor Tools, click the icon that looks like a painting, or image.
• Upload, or Insert, an existing image stored on Your Website Server.
• Enter the Full URL or link to the chosen image.
• To save your article, click Save, positioned in the top right hand corner of the Article Editor.
• Click Close, positioned in the top right hand corner of the Article Editor.
