How To Create A New Article in Joomla

Open your web browser, such as Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox. Log into the back-end, or control panel  of your website. This is done by typing your website name, followed by " /administrator " thus pointing your web browser to your control panel “http://www.yoursite.co.za/administrator" . Type in your Username, and Password.

Once logged into the back-end of your website, you will see Joomla's Control Panel in front of you.

Click on the "Add New Article" icon on the dashboard or select Content, from the top menu, then scroll down to, Article Manager.

Now that you are in the Article Manager section, Click on the New button, to create a new article.

Start by typing your content in plain text, then make adjustments to size and colour.

For more advanced users, you will be able to insert pictures, and add tables.

To save your article, click Apply, or Save, positioned in the top right hand corner of the Article Editor.

Click Close, positioned in the top right hand corner of the Article Editor.
